Boqueria Traders Association has joined the PIMEComerç network

Last 17th October, Boqueria Traders Association became a member of the PIMEComerç network. Salvador Capdevila, president of the Traders Association, signed the membership form together with Àlex Goñi, president of PIMEComerç, on the premises of the Association in the market itself. The Association was established in 1996 to safeguard the interests of the market stallholders.
According to Salvador Capdevila, the reason for joining the network is “The protection that PIMEComerç offers small businesses in the market in relation to the future challenges we must face, and the need to improve our product offering and adapt it to the needs of an ever-changing society.” The president of the market traders added, “Due to these changes and because of its singularity, Boqueria Market is presented as a venue that offers a wealth of opportunities for the future.”
In turn, Àlex Goñi expressed his satisfaction with the fact that PIMEComerç’s members now include the traders of “A market which combines a vast historical legacy with a desire to adapt to the times, in order to continue to offer high quality local commerce to its clients”. This new incorporation has allowed PIMEComerç, which in 2017, set up a Food Group, to win a new member from the food sector, to enable it to respond to the concerns and demands of the agri-food sector.
