On Monday, 10 November, la Boqueria began to fill with Christmas spirit through a festive decoration workshop held as part of the project “Les Flors, a la Rambla”.
In the morning, the market’s stallholders learned techniques and ideas to decorate their stands with a festive and creative touch, crafting personalised and unique “dreamcatcher wreaths”.
In the afternoon, local residents were able to take part in a Christmas centrepiece workshop, featuring fir branches as the main element, and discovered how to create floral arrangements to bring warmth and colour to the holiday season.
The activity was organised by Amics de la Rambla and the Gremi de Floristes de Catalunya, with the collaboration of la Boqueria, as part of an initiative aimed at preserving the Rambla’s floristry tradition and bringing Christmas sparkle to its shops and markets.
